Love Fellowship Christian Church (LFCC) stands as a beacon of faith, empowerment, and social change. For over two decades, we have cultivated a thriving mega ministry grounded in service, community transformation, and spiritual excellence.

The Call & Foundation

On February 21, 1998, Elder James A. Wills Sr. answered the call, holding the first Founder's Meeting in his home. Just weeks later, on March 14, 1998, LFCC held its inaugural worship service at the YMCA. By December, the ministry expanded to our current home at 1567 North Clinton Street, where the vision continues to flourish.

Growth Through Grace

In the face of trials, God's favor prevailed. From temporary transitions to securing sacred space at Grace United Methodist Church, LFCC never wavered. We emerged stronger, bolder, and more determined to serve.

Community in Action

LFCC is more than a church — it is a force for good in the city. From the vibrant Holiness in the Hood block parties to the launch of Shockwave family outreach and Community Access for at-risk youth, our ministry has answered the call to serve. Our House of Bread food bank and House of Lydia outreach have ministered to countless families with food, clothing, and care.

Faith Meets Culture

We proudly represented Christ in public celebrations, becoming the first church to join the Razzle Dazzle Parade. Through dance, step, and praise, ministries like the Liturgical Dance Ministry and Tribe of Judah have shaped young lives and lifted hearts.

Building the Next Generation

LFCC has consistently invested in youth through programs like Decatur C.O.O.K.S., our summer youth employment initiative, and the LFCC College Scholarship Fund, empowering future leaders academically and spiritually.

Leadership & Elevation

Under the anointed leadership of Pastor James A. Wills—appointed District Director in 2003, elevated to Overseer in 2004, and installed as Bishop of Illinois in 2017—we have expanded our regional and national influence through the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International.
